Walking 100km for Link!

Thames Path Challenge 2013

During September this year, four brave Link supporters set out on an epic challenge to complete the Thames Path Challenge. The challenge was to walk a staggering 100km or a shorter (but just as tasking!) 50km alongside the Thames River as it meanders all the way from Putney to Henley-on-Thames. Not only was there a vast distance to cover, but it was to be completed within a 24 hour time frame - so walking all through the night was a necessity!

Happy 95th Birthday, Madiba!

“Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again”  -  Nelson Mandela.

Happy Birthday Nelson Mandela! The anti-apartheid hero turns 95 today as he remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

South Africans are being urged to mark their first black president’s 67 years of public service with 67 minutes of charitable acts. Our intern Nick at Link has drawn a picture of Mandela in spirit of this celebration.
