Improving the quality of education in Africa

Link and Coulters Property

Link Community Development International are delighted to announce a partnership with Coulters Property.

The Edinburgh based solicitor-estate agency launched in the Scottish capital in August 2013, opening its first branch in Stockbridge before adding a second in Marchmont 18 months later. In May 2016, the company merged with HBJ Property, a division of leading Scottish law firm HBJ Gateley.

Specialising in all aspects of residential property, Coulters is an expert on the Edinburgh market and prides itself on delivering the best possible advice, service and results whether you are selling a home, buying a new one or looking for property management of a single or portfolio of properties.

Coulters will work with Link for the next two years, with Coulters’ team members already committed to completing the West Highland Way walk and the Total Warrior obstacle course amongst other fundraising initiatives.

Mark Coulter, Chief Executive at Coulters said: “We are passionate about supporting children’s charities and were really impressed with Link and what it has achieved to date.

“Many of the young people the charity works with live in desperate poverty, but thanks to Link’s projects, they are being offered the chance of a brighter future.”

Fiona Greig, CEO of Link, said: “We are very much looking forward to working with Coulters, their enthusiasm, passion and energy has been extremely motivating. Fundraisers play a huge part in supporting our work and we are grateful to have Mark and his team on board.

“There is extensive evidence showing that education is vital in the fight against poverty and poor health. For example, a child whose mother can read is 50% more likely to live past the age of five.

“Our vision is a world where every child has the right to quality education and for every £1 raised, 97p goes directly to support our charitable projects in Africa.”

We look forward to working closely with our new partners over the coming two years. You can find out more about Coulters by visiting their website: www.coultersproperty.co.uk
