Project Manager - Malawi

Link Malawi is recruiting for multiple roles to deliver an exciting new project: Transformational Empowerment of Adolescent Marginalised Girls in Malawi (“TEAM Girl Malawi”). This five year project in Dedza, Mchinji and Lilongwe will improve learning and life chances for girls aged 10–19 who have never been to school or who dropped out of school without gaining functional literacy and numeracy.

We are seeking highly qualified and self-motivated professionals who are passionate about making a positive change in the world. Experience in education, community engagement, and gender or disability inclusion is strongly preferred. Women and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply to support greater diversity within our team.

We are looking for two Project Managers to support the delivery of this new project, to be based in Dedza and Mchinji. Successful candidates will play a key role toward the achievement of project objectives (in your respective district) through the management and coordination of project activities, financial, administrative and logistical support. You will be key to managing effective community engagement, partner relations and outreach with all stakeholders. You will also play a key role in monitoring and evaluation - working closely with M&E team members and management, ensuring regular and relevant data collection and analysis.

We are looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Specialist to support the delivery of this new project, to be based in Lilongwe. The successful candidate will support the achievement of programme objectives through ensuring adherence to the project MEL framework throughout the programme duration. Working closely with partner agencies, Project Officers and Managers, Team Leader, Project Director, Project Coordinator, and the External Evaluator; you will support in devising and managing the use of effective methodologies to collect systematic baseline data, tracking and report progress against approved targets and collect data for subsequent evaluation points.

We are looking for a Gender & Social Inclusion Specialist to support the delivery of this new project, to be based in Lilongwe. The successful candidate will play a key role toward the achievement of programme objectives by ensuring the effective integration of gender and social inclusion measures and considerations throughout programme design, planning, implementation and internal monitoring and learning. This will inform the intervention to make sure that it is reaching the most vulnerable, hard-to-reach, marginalised girls; understand their challenges; and address the various barriers to education.
